There are always lessons to be learned from other people. One of the hardest is to be happy for other people in their success and still driving yourself forward when you are feeling behind. Just because it's raining doesn't mean it's a back day. Just because there is a lot going on around you don't mean those tasks are hard. Your happiness is relative to you. It's not I'll be happy when, be happy now!

The thing that drives us here at Dawson Manufacturing. We all see a dream of a standalone Dawson Manufacuring facility and wages at the facility that we won't want to lose. Some of the best lessons are learned from failure. Society has learned unfortunately from school that if you fail you can't succeed. But the best lessons are actually learned from failure. Take Elon Musk for example, Paypal isn't what it is today without failure. He had to constantly change and evolve it to get better, same with Tesla and SpaceX. Read Issac Waltersons book on Elon and see how many failures he endured and now he is worth in the range of $250 billion. That was all from lessons learned from failure.

One of the reason's Nick loves golf and racing. They are very much solo sports, golf more than racing. When you are driving it's all you in the race. When you are in the pit you have a team. When you are golfing, no one can handle your swing but you. No one controls your put but you. No one chips the ball but you. No one scores but you. When it comes to life, change start from looking in the mirror. That is the only person that can make a change in your life. Many people in the present day have an issue seeing believe in themselves. The problem is the belief comes in time when social media says it has to happen now. The change can happen now, but the results come with time and consistency.
