0103. Act with Intent. Learn how to not react.

We all go about life with it happening to use versus us happening to life. Well, what do we mean about that? Kyle took sometime this summer to spend more time with his daughter and wife. While doing that he had a friend take over the mowing section of his business and didn't notice how much it was costing him till last second.  Now it didn't get out of hand it was something that was recoverable. But it definitely took him by surprise. If he acted with intent he would have managed his time better with his daughter and wife better so that he could still mow and bring the income to him specifically. Check out the examples in the podcast and see how acting with intent can change your life.

Sayings exist for a reason. You are the sum of the 5 people you are around the most. That could be your net worth, yourself worth, your personality, all of it and more. We are social being and in order to become a part of the click of people you need to blend in or offer something to better yourself and those around you. A great book to read on this is Dale Carnegie's book, How to Win Friends and Influence People.  If you are the smarted person in the room, however, you need to find a new room.

Whether its accepting you are wrong to a coworker, or doing something you really don't want to do within a company, or even working longer hours than expected. No matter what you do for a living, you will eventually have to eat some crap, as an employee or employer. Facing it and getting better is truly a test to oneself to get better and provide the best for them, their family and the workplace. Don't be afraid to do that crappy jobs, you'll actually be happy that you did it and got it out the way.

0100. Blue Collar Workers Deserve More Recognition.

Nick and Kyle dive into a little blue-collar work. We don't know everything one statistic we do know is that for every 5 blue-collar workers 2 are taking their place and it is going to cause some problems but leaves a gap in for people to make a great living for themselves. There are some extremes that we all see is that those who work in the trades don't make good money, but if you apply yourself and work hard you life can be better than those who got a doctorate in college!

099. Getting Shit Done!

Nick and Kyle have had a full week of work this week. The 27th annual SIMA show in Pittsburg has kicked off. Kyle, Justin, and Gavin took care of the booth before being kicked out. We took up the MulchMate, our SnowMates and KartMates for display. Nick has an Audi update as he has to take the transmission out again because the reverse "fork" is messed up, but man is it wicked sounding! Life is going to offer you opportunities to get better. Try to see them and take them.

098. Welcome the pain because it helps make you better.

Today everyone falls victim to their pain. With pain comes a lesson to become a better person, strengthen relationships, mend past issues and more. It is very hard sometimes in the moment to see a clear path but if you learn the discipline to attack the problems head on then you not only become a better person but you learn a valuable lesson. Remember life is like a beach youll get a big wave every once in a while. It was your fault for being in that position at that exact time to get knocked over, dust your elbows off and get back after it.
